Amazon, which doubled its profits and made more than a 11 billon dollars in 2018, won’t pay any federal income tax for the second year in a row.

Soooo corporations are people. They can influence politicians with the money they don’t pay in taxes. On top of that they get the full protection of the U.S. government as well as the full protection of the Constitution. Meanwhile the middle class buys their cheaply made junk, pays all the bills and get no representation from their representatives.

It’s not that people don’t like the wealthy, they don’t like the wealthy getting all the breaks and the rest of us paying for it.

Capitalism is based on competition; when a handful of corporations own all the major companies there is no more competition. We are being manipulated by the wealthy monopolies to believe we are represented and the holy grail of capitalism is being run fair and square. What will they do when they’ve sucked the last citizen dry? Who’s going to buy their cheap junk?

All I can say is wake up people.
