WBCSD honors Brengle, Gamber

Two Priest River Lamanna High School employees, Cheryl Brengle and Renee Gamber, have been honored by the West Bonner County School District as its top employees for December.

In order to support and recognize outstanding employees, the district implemented the employee recognition program to honor certified and classified individuals who exemplify its district vision – “strive for greatness,” district officials said in a press release.

Cheryl Brengle is a first and second-grade teacher at Idaho Hill and has been with this district for about 29 years. Brengle was nominated by a colleague who had wonderful things to share about her.

“Cheryl was noted for being a master teacher who has an amazing ability to bring out the highest potential in her students,” district officials said in a press release. “Thank you for your dedication, Cheryl.”

The classified employee of the month for January is Renee Gamber, who works as a classroom paraprofessional at Idaho Hill Elementary. Renee has been with West Bonner County School District for about six years. Gamber was nominated by a colleague who noted that she is always putting the kids first and goes out of her way for all students.

“She is also a great support to staff,” district officials said. “hank you for your hard work, Renee.”

In addition to public recognition, area businesses have donated awards to the individuals who are recognized. This month’s sponsor is to 7Brews and Nordman.
