Ellen M. Grosjean, 78, passed away on Saturday, February 16, in Sandpoint, Idaho.

A celebration of her life will take place later in Pinecrest Memorial Park.

Ellen was born on May 25, 1940, in Careywood, Idaho. She attended local Bonner County schools, including Sandpoint High School. She would later live in Elksford, British Columiba, in Canada, and then return to the Sandpoint area. She was a member of the Seventh-day Adventist Church, studied her Bible, and had a passion for the word of God.

She enjoyed the beauty of North Idaho, enjoyed crocheting and going to yard sales.

She is survived by her two sons, Shane Blood and James L. Blood, both of Sandpoint, Idaho; five grandchildren and great-grandchildren; two brothers, Ron VanGundy and Larry VanGundy, both of Bonners Ferry, Idaho; her sister, Shelly Rocks of Coeur d’Alene, Idaho. Numerous nieces, nephews and cousins also survive. She was preceded in death by her mother, Velma Rocks; her brother, Steve; and her sister, Dorothy Delcomte.
