PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE Notice is hereby given pursuant to Idaho Code and East Hope city codes that the East Hope City Council will conduct a public hearing to consider the repeal and replacement of the current East Hope zoning and subdivision regulations at 5:30 p.m., Tuesday, March 12, 2019, at the East Hope City Hall, 110 School Road, East Hope, Idaho. The East Hope City Council initiated the code amendments following the update of its comprehensive plan in 2017. The amendment includes proposals to: consolidate land use codes into one document; improve readability of codes with tables and charts; add opportunities for rebuilding grandfathered structures; clarify violations are a misdemeanor punishable by a maximum $1,000 fine or imprisonment not to exceed 6 months or both; establish a new Residential R-3 zoning district; update procedures to match Idaho Code; set manufactured home and residential accessory structure standards; set maximum RV occupancy limits; require vacation rental registration and standards; create options for multi-family housing in Shoreline Residential district; provide planned unit development options; update definitions; and revise subdivision and property line adjustment sections. The draft code can be viewed at city hall during normal business hours 9 a.m.- 1 p.m. Monday - Thursday and Friday 9 a.m. to noon, or by calling 208 264-5877 to make an appointment. The draft amendment and summary are also posted on the city website at: www.cityofeasthope.com The public may testify or present evidence at the public hearing regarding whether the proposal complies with applicable city or state codes. PUBLIC NOTICE Under the Idaho Urban Renewal Law, an urban renewal agency is required to file with the local governing body, on or before March 31 of each year, a report of its activities for the preceding calendar year, which shall include a complete financial statement setting forth its assets, liabilities, income, and operating expense at the end of the calendar year.
