Council honors volunteers

The BGH Volunteer Council recently held its annual Christmas luncheon where they named the volunteer of the year and the honorary volunteer of the year.
At the Dec. 12 luncheon, Volunteer Council President Margo Johnson presented Marsha Henderson with the Volunteer of the Year Award. Marsha began volunteering at Bonner General Health in 2012. She has currently volunteered 1,092 hours. Marsha volunteers at the desk in the main lobby of the hospital.
Faye Moore was named the Honorary Volunteer of the Year. Faye began volunteering at Bonner General Health in 1974, she retired in 2017 with a total of 5,063 hours!
“Faye has volunteered in various departments throughout the hospital including some of the outpatient clinics such as Bonner General Immediate Care and Performance Therapy Services,” said Margo Johnson. “We have received several positive comments from staff members over the years about her willingness to help and her dedication to services.”
Currently, Bonner General Health has 41 active volunteers and 13 chaplain volunteers.
