Festival to announce concerts weekly

SANDPOINT — Forget April Fool’s Day. That’s so last year.

Instead of releasing their entire line-up for its 37th annual summer concert, The Festival at Sandpoint plans to make weekly announcements, gradually revealing the headliners for the 2019 Festival season.

Every Monday, starting Feb. 25, the Festival will announce one headliner and tickets will go on sale that day for that individual show. The weekly announcements will continue until the final artist is unveiled on April 1 completing the full line-up.

Announcements will be made at 6 a.m. on Mondays via the Festival Facebook page, the Festival’s website, festivalatsandpoint.com and via the Festival’s email blast.

“We are excited to share the line-up sooner this year and to give each Festival concert its own special attention,” said Festival Executive Director Dyno Wahl. “These weekly announcements will be a fun new way to focus on each artist and for Festival fans to anticipate the excitement of the full summer season!”

The Festival at Sandpoint takes place Aug. 1-11 at Memorial Field in Sandpoint. Tickets may be purchased online at festivalatsandpoint.com, or by calling 208-265-4554, or at the Festival office, 525 Pine St., in downtown Sandpoint.
