SANDPOINT — The power of community will come together today to aid the victims of a Feb. 11 fire in the downtown that destroyed five businesses.

The Power of Community fundraiser will be held from 4-7 p.m. today at 317 N. First Ave., Sandpoint.

Attendees will have an opportunity to bid on fun, funky and unique items donated by business and citizens alike. Live music to set the mood with local restaurants providing delightful finger foods and drinks. It’ll be a great night for a great cause.

Come join the fun and see how the power of community will help everyone rise above the ashes.

The Feb. 11 fire gutted two buildings housing the Hound Pizza, Headlines Salon, Sandpoint Chocolate Bear, China Kitchen and Sandpoint Tattoo & Body Piercing. A third building sustained significant smoke and water damage which has led to the temporary closure of Grace Sandpoint and Grace Sandpoint Bible College.
