ELMIRA NEWS

We were having beautiful spring weather around here until Sunday morning. The wind started to blow and it snowed a foot within a few hours. We are hoping it doesn’t last long.

•••

SELLE NEWS

This snow is great and the teamsters hope it will last so they can get some hauling done.

Edwin Mable, another of our soldier boys, returned home from Camp Lewis Saturday.

LOCAL BRIEFS

The snowfall the past few days is a Godsend to loggers, if the weather doesn’t turn warm and take it off right away. There has not been enough snow so far to do any hauling, but if it lasts two or three weeks it will make a terrific difference in the amount of logs that are taken out.
