I have been reading all the letters regarding the supplemental school levy that is proposed. I keep reading that 80 percent of school districts in Idaho have these levies to meet their needs.
But what about the 20 percent that do not use levies? I was unable to find exactly which 22 districts do not have a supplemental levy. Why are these districts able to operate without a levy while 93 districts need a levy? Do their districts have academic and athletic extracurricular activities? Do they provide adequate curriculum and technology? I don’t know the answers to these questions.
Personally, I am leaning toward voting for our levy, I just wish I had a little bit more information.
