I urge all readers to access the school district’s web page and use the calculator provided there to determine exactly what you will be paying for the proposed levy. Do not base your vote on what others are claiming they will have to pay. Figure yours out for yourself.

Our market value did not change from last year. The increase we will experience is about eight dollars ($8) a month.

That seems a very small amount to contribute toward the education of the youth in our community.

We haven’t had children in the school system for over 30 years. It took that proverbial village to pay for our education and for our children’s and now it’s time for everyone to pay for today’s children and our future leaders.
