Children are Idaho’s most valuable resource. Though my own grandchildren live elsewhere, I like to volunteer at our local school where great teachers make miracles happen. Good schools build strong communities.

Idaho legislators have failed again to sufficiently fund our schools. Our district has had to seek funds from the voters every two years. The current LPOSD replacement levy is much less than the average in the state. And it funds 30 percent of our district’s budget. It is essential.

I urge you to vote yes on March 12 for our children, for the health of our communities, and for Idaho’s future.
