Washington Trust Bank officials donated $5,500 to the Bonner Community Food Bank — enough to buy 700 turkeys. The turkeys add to the 300 turkeys donated by the community, allowing the food bank to give turkeys to all who needed them for Thanksgiving. As of Tuesday afternoon, the food bank had served 680 families who have received a turkey, dried cherries, stuffing, canned corn, fruit, green beans, cream of mushroom soup, jello, olives, canned pumpkin, canned yams, and fresh potatoes.
