All the proceeds from their art goes towards their fundraising efforts for the school’s planned trip to Washington, D.C., in June 2020. Around eight to 10 students will be going to Washington and New York, where they will visit places such as the White House and Smithsonian, and will have the opportunity to see a Broadway play among other sites. So far LPOHS students have raised about a quarter of $16,000 needed for the trip.
