Jan. 3

After a welfare check request at 12:16 p.m., an officer checked on two juveniles in the 700 block of Washington Avenue and advised they were fine.

A sweatshirt was reported taken from the 1900 block of Boyer Avenue at 12:39 p.m. and later recovered; victim did not want to press charges.

Officers were unable to locate a vehicle reported to be causing a traffic hazard in the 1300 block of Boyer Avenue at 2:08 p.m.

An officer assisted a citizen in the 1000 block of Ella Avenue at 5:29 p.m.

A follow-up report was taken on Fir Street at 5:50 p.m.

Misty L. Schubert, 45, of Sandpoint, was arrested in the area of Boyer Avenue and Chestnut Street at 7:41 p.m. on a charge of driving under the influence.

A resident in the 1500 block was advised to keep the noise level down after a complaint at 7:44 p.m.

Officers responded to a call in the 600 block of Larch Street at 7:41 p.m.

Malfunctioning railroad arms were reported on Baldy Mountain Road at 9:06 p.m.

A male causing problems in the 1100 block of Chestnut Street at 11:44 p.m. fled the area before the officers arrived.
