I recently listened to a PBS segment where it was noted the 116th Congress would be the most racially diverse ever, and have the greatest number of female members ever.

So what? Will racial diversity and more females suddenly make senators and representatives accountable, altruistic, and honest? Of course it will. Congressmen go to Washington for three reasons: power, money, and reelection. Nothing else. Certainly not concern for the country or the proletariat.

Trump haters, you might do well to step back, take a breath, and place the lion’s share of the blame for real and manufactured problems at the foot of the useless 535 members of Congress where I feel it belongs.

By the way Trump haters, he is your duly elected president. Grow up, children.
