Writing workshop series events set

SANDPOINT — A second event is on tap as part of the Sandpoint Winter Creative Writing Series.

Announced by Lost Horse Press and the Sandpoint Literary Collective, the fiction, poetry & creative nonfiction workshop and reading will feature Jonathan Johnson. The event will take place Jan. 25-26 in the Rude Girls Room of the Sandpoint Library. Friday’s workshop will take place from 5-8 p.m. while Saturday’s activities begin at 10 a.m. and end at 4:30 p.m., when Johnson will read from his recently released poetry collection, “May Is an Island”. An open mic for workshop participants will follow the reading.

All three events in the Sandpoint Winter Creative Writing Series are free and open to all creative writers. Writers must register for the workshops with Lost Horse Press.
