SANDPOINT — The Greater Sandpoint Chamber of Commerce welcomed Sandpoint Play & Learn with a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Thursday, Jan. 17.

After an extensive renovation, The Sandpoint Play & Learn Center opened its doors in November. They are a brand-new children’s daycare facility in the heart of Sandpoint, run by a professional, highly qualified, experienced, and caring staff, to cater to the needs of working parents in the Sandpoint area. Located at the corner of Division and Pine, Sandpoint Play & Learn is open 7 a.m.-6 p.m., Monday through Friday. The center accepts children from 3 months through 5 years old. They also offer school age children a daycare service on days when the schools are closed and on snow days.

“The daycare has been a dream of mine for many years,” said owner Kelley Wendle, who has extensive experience in childhood development and also owns Latchkey Kids, an afterschool program at Sagle Elementary. “We look forward to serving the community with this amazing new daycare and learning center.”

Chamber officials welcomed Sandpoint Play & Learn to the organization and wished them success in the community.
