LIBBY — Sisters Ali and (10 points, four rebounds) and Tessa Sutton (9 points, three rebounds) carried Clark Fork past Libby (MT) in a 32-29 win on Monday night.

“We implemented a lot of new things this evening and the Lady Cats executed most of them well,” Clark Fork head coach Jordan Adams said. “They know their current sets so well I’m confident we could have implemented them and could have pulled away. However these are the types of games that you want to implement new things and see what your team is capable of.”

Spearheaded by seven steals from Brooke Stevens, Clark Fork’s defense stifled Libby early, holding them to only one field goal in the second quarter.

Although Clark Fork led by 10 going into the fourth, Libby chipped away at the lead. But a free throw from Ali Sutton and Lily Simko’s lone basket of the night iced the game.

Libby’s Ellse Erickson led all scorers with 12 points. Stevens also added nine for the Lady Cats.

Clark Fork (6-4, 3-2 NSL) hosts Sandpoint on Friday.
