Accounts are set up for family who lost toddler

SANDPOINT — Fundraising accounts have been established for to aid the family of a 2-year-old girl who was killed in a collision on Highway 200 on Monday.

Savannah Symonds, the aunt of the toddler who died, said in a Facebook post there are several ways people can donate or help the girl’s family.

“This devastating loss has been felt by all, and we find comfort knowing so many want to help in any way that they can,” Symonds said in the post.

Idaho State Police said the girl was fatally injured in a T-bone collision at Sunnyside Road. State police said Keanu M. Dooley was westbound when he attempted to turn left onto the lakeside county road. Dooley’s Subaru was struck on the passenger side by an eastbound pickup truck, ISP said.

State police said the toddler was in a child safety seat at the time of the collision.
