| January 25, 2019 12:00 AM

Patricia Ann Kelley passed away on Jan. 14, 2019.

Patty, as she preferred, was born Sept. 8, 1942 in Newport, Wash., to Bloom and Dorothy Irish. She grew up south of Sandpoint, Idaho, and attended Southside Elementary. Patty graduated from Sandpoint High School. Shortly after graduating she married and moved north of Sandpoint where she raised two children.

Patty was a substitute school bus driver for many years for the Bonner County School District. And she had a great love for fishing and picking huckleberries.

After divorcing she moved to Lewiston, Idaho. There her love for fishing continued at a favorite spot on the Snake River.

Patty was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Walt Irish; two sisters, Irene Andrews and Helen Battien; and her son, Stephen L. Kelley.

Patty is survived by one sister, Mickey (Clay) Wagner of Priest Lake, Idaho; her daughter, Karen (Michael) Bishop of Sandpoint; four grandkids, three step-grandkids, four great-grandkids and two step-great-grandkids; along with several cousins, nieces and nephews.

There will be no public service. However, since Patty had a hard life struggling with mental illness the family has asked that any remembrances for Patty be donated to support someone with mental illness or the homeless.

Family and friends are invited to sign Patty’s online guest book at coffeltfuenral.com.

Arrangements are under the care of Coffelt Funeral Service.
