Paul Ira Barnhart, 79, born in Colville, Washington, passed away quietly in his Idaho home on January 27, 2019, surrounded by loved ones.

His greatest goal in life was to share the love of Jesus with others. He worked in the woods for over 66 years. Paul said he had sawdust in his veins. He loved playing his banjo and singing his favorite songs like “I’ll Fly Away”. In his later years he also enjoyed playing golf.

He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Trudy Barnhart; and their four loving children, Michelle Gibb, Venette Humphries, Russell Barnhart, and Alex Barnhart, their spouses and 12 grandchildren; also including extended family Asa Bowman, Melinda Widgren and Bart Widgren.

There will be a potluck celebration of life service, February 20 at 4 p.m. at the Cocolalla Bible Camp, 209 Cocolalla Loop Road, Cocolalla, Idaho. All are welcome.

Family and friends are invited to sign Paul’s online guestbook at coffeltfuneral.com

Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Coffelt Funeral Service.
