Priest River readies for fireworks show

PRIEST RIVER — Thanks to the community’s generosity, enough funds were raised to cover Priest River’s annual Fourth of July fireworks show.

The fireworks show will begin about 10 p.m. at Bonner Park.

A successful Picker’s Day added more than $482 toward the community fireworks celebration and a strong response to the Priest River Chamber of Commerce’s raffle ensured the show would take place. Winning the raffle for two fireworks bundles donated by Rocketman Pyros worth $300 were David Melbourn and the Beardmore Bistro.

All help and donations were apreciated, chamber officials said.
