(Photo courtesy of CHRIS NEWHART) The 12U Sandpoint Sasquatch Youth Baseball team wrapped up the season by winning its final tournament in Montana. The team went 5-1 in tournament play, capped off by defeating the Kalispell Lakers in a 5-4, extra-inning championship game. The tournament win was a fitting send-off for manager Ron Turner and his son, first baseman Jesse Turner — both of whom will be relocating to California in the coming months.
