Tabitha Van Buren passed along this photo taken during Independence Day festivities in Clark Fork. They are 86 and 84 years young, respectively, she said. They participated in the Jill and Jill crosscut saw competition. Which, after speaking with their son, Kelly, I found out that they actually won the competition in 1999. And their time actually bested the Jack and Jack winning time.

I think that these ladies deserve recognition for still getting out there and participating in a physically demanding sport which helps fund the next years festivities, Tabitha Van Buren said in submitting the photo. My sister and I actually had the winning time this year but because of their actions, we presented these ladies with the trophies anyways in order to pay homage to them.
