Garrison Keillor tickets go on sale

Tickets for the Sept. 14 Garrison Keillor performance, which were scheduled to go on sale July 1, have not been put on sale yet due to the construction of the Schuler Performing Arts Center at Boswell Hall on the North Idaho College campus.

Keillor will be touring the United States this fall, stopping in major cities like Seattle and Los Angeles. He’s wrapping up his nationwide tour in Coeur d’Alene as a fundraiser for the local symphony.

The Schuler Performing Arts Center is being remodeled: The new seating chart has yet to be finalized, which in turn means tickets cannot go on sale.

Local resident and arts supporter Marlo Faulkner, who wrote the letter asking the popular author and radio host to come to town, said the seating chart should be ironed out and released by Friday.

Tickets, which will range in price from $35 to $75, will be available through TicketsWest.com after the seating chart is released.
