Drama camp is back at the playhouse

Drama camp is back! Pend Oreille Playhouse officials said they are so excited to be able to offer Drama Day Camp at the playhouse this summer, they can hardly stand it! This year’s camp will be directed by singer/songwriter/teacher/all-around-cool-gal, Olivia Brownlee. This is what you have to look forward to with her:

“Pend Orielle Players Summer Theater Camp is dedicated to the betterment of society by cultivating and nurturing everyday super powers such as humanity, divergent thinking, linguistics, and situational awareness. The programming this summer will include and not be limited to playmaking, musical jamming, bricolage, puppetry, and maskwork, with short showcases at the end of each week to which family and friends will be invited.”

Camp for kids going into 7th-12th grades will be July 29, 30, 31, Aug. 1, & 2 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Camp for kids going into the first through third grades will be August 5, 6, 7, 8, & 9 from 9 am – 12 pm.

Camp for kids going into the fourth through sixth grades will be August 5, 6, 7, 8, & 9 from 1 pm – 4 pm.

Tuition is $50 for each student for all camps.
