Wendy Ann Jewsbury, 59

Wendy Ann Jewsbury, 59, joined the love of her life when she passed away on Friday, July 5, 2019, in Sandpoint, Idaho.

Memorial services will be held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, July 21, 2019, at the Lakeview Funeral Home with Pastor Lori Morton officiating.

Wendy was born on February 18, 1960, in San Francisco, California, to Henry Blalock and Barbara Schwabel.

She moved to Sandpoint at age 17 and she married Bill Jewsbury in 1982. When Bill joined the military, she and her children traveled with him to Ver-mont, Hawaii, Arizona, and Oregon. Wendy and Bill retired in Sand-point in 2011.

She dedicated much of her life to motherhood.

She loved the sun, traveling and spending time at the ocean. You would see her most afternoons on the back of a Harley Davidson motorcycle with Bill in the driver’s seat.

She is survived by her daughter, Michelle Jewsbury of Los Angeles, California; her son, Josh Jewsbury and fiancé Brooke Fish of Portland, Oregon; her stepmother, Betty Blalock of Long Beach, California; and her brother, Jerry, and sister-in-law, Linda Lavell of Pahrump, Nevada.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and her husband, Bill Jewsbury in 2015.
