Lois E. Montgomery, 79

Lois E. Montgomery, 79, of Ephrata, Washington, passed away on Friday, July 5, 2019, at her home with her loving family by her side.

Lois was born on May 29, 1940, in Sandpoint, Idaho, to Leonard and Vivian Saunders. She attended school in Sandpoint and Coeur d’Alene, Idaho, where she met her future husband, Melvin (Matt) Montgomery. They married and moved to Alaska, where they were very happy. Later, they moved back to Ephrata.

Lois loved quilting, sewing, and her crafts. But, most of all, she loved being with all her family.

Lois was preceded in death by her parents, Leonard and Vivian Saunders and her loving husband, Matt. She is survived by her two children, Kathy Mittler and her husband Jim; and her son, David Montgomery; her three sisters, Janice VanDenBurg, Dorothy Finny, and Joyce Hixson; and also by many nieces and nephews

Lois was very loved and will be deeply missed.
