POPA announces annual barbecue

Pend Oreille Players Association will hold the group’s annual community barbeue on Sunday, July 28. The barbecue will be held from 1-3 p.m.

The community is invited to attend to have fun and learn about POPA’s upcoming season, offer input on plays, performances and activities they’d like to see at the Playhouse, and volunteer opportunties.

Current board members are Becky Anderson, Kristi Bell, Krs Friy, Danny Litowitz, Brian Langlais, Lori Soleibe-Langlais, Norm Smith, and Paulina Staab.

The playhouse is located at 236 S. Union Ave, Newport.
