Angels accepting grant applications

SANDPOINT — The Angels Over Sandpoint’s grant cycle is now open, and the group will be accepting applications through Sept. 15.

The Angels Over Sandpoint give primary consideration to non-profit organizations involved in health, education and youth-oriented projects and services. Grants available range from $250 to $2,500. Organizations eligible to apply must meet one of the following criteria:

- Tax exempt under Section 501(c)(3), (4), (6) or (19)

- A recognized government entity — state, county or city, including law enforcement or fire department — requesting funds exclusively for charitable purposes

- A pre-kindergarten to grade 12 public or private school, charter school, community/junior college, state/private college or university

- A church or faith based organization with proposed project that benefits the community at large

- A children/youth program
