Robinsons fete 60 years
Dan Robinson and Elaine Evans Robinson will be celebrating their 60th wedding anniversary with an open house 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. on June 15, 2019 at the VFW Hall, 1325 Pine St., Sandpoint.
Dan and Elaine graduated in 1959 from Sandpoint High School. After graduating from University of Idaho in 1963, Dan made a career as a pilot in the U.S. Air Force for 20 years. Retiring at Langley Air Force Base in Hampton, Virginia, he and son Daniel went into business, Bitterroot Construction, building custom homes.
While Dan was flying where ever the Air Force sent him, Elaine was busy with making a new home every four years and raising four children. The couple has also been blessed with eight grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. In 2015, Dan and Elaine retired again back to Dan’s childhood farm on Dufort Road in Sagle, Idaho.
Their friends and loved ones are invited to join them for refreshments and fellowship on Saturday, June 15. Dress is casual and the couple asks that those attending do not bring gifts as they are trying to downsize. The celebration is hosted by Arlene Evans and Anita Robinson.
