Summer Reading on tap at library

| June 12, 2019 1:00 AM

Registration is ongoing for the Priest River Library’s Summer Reading program.

The program offers a chance to cCelebrate the 50th anniversary of the Apollo 11 moon landing at “A Universe of Stories.”

Miss Josie and crew promise lots of universal fun, including a galaxy of make and take crafts, games, free books and a visit from a special guest; Radical Rick, who hosts Extreme Science on KHQ-TV.

The six-week program is open to kids grades K-6 and will be held on Tuesdays at 10:30 a.m. beginning on June 25. Organizers would welcome teen volunteers to run the Summer Reading Store and help with games, crafts, and STEM activities. Those interested should contact Christa or Josie for more information.
