A competitor races through a tunnel as it takes part in an obstacle course at DogFest 2019 on Saturday, June 22. There are 19 DogFest events across the country, with the Sandpoint event being the only one in the Pacific Northwest. All proceeds go to Canine Compan-ions, a nationwide nonprofit organization which raises highly skilled assistance dogs to place — free of charge — to individuals with a wide variety of disabilities.
