Final reminder: It's time to plunge

BONNERS FERRY — Saturday’s Penguin Plunge is targeted for 35 degrees and sunshine.

The 2019 Penguin Plunge on March 9 is looking to be the best ever. In addition to plenty of fun and a chance to help Special Olympics, “Capt. Dan” Mimmack and his pirate ship will be on hand — complete with the ship’s secret treasure chest and kids will be able to board the ship and get a treasure.

No worries about the cold, Bill from North Idaho Spas will be on hand for the plungers to warm up afterward.
