SOUTHSIDE WATER AND SEWER DISTRICT CROSSFLOW CONNECTION POLICY PUBLIC HEARING The Southside Water and Sewer District will hold a public hearing on March 20, 2019 at the Waterlife Discovery Center, 1591 Lakeshore Drive, Sagle, ID 83860 at 2:00 p.m. The purpose of the public meeting is to present an ordinance to adopt a policy on the implementation of a crossflow connection program in the District. The meeting will present the regulatory requirements from the Idaho Department of Environmental Quality, who requires the program to be in place for every water system in the State. A copy of the ordinance will be available for public review starting March 6, 2019, at 102 S. Fourth Street, Suite A, Sandpoint, ID 83864 during normal business hours. Verbal and written comments on the Facility Plan will be accepted at the public meeting. Written comments on the policy will also be accepted by the District Board until March 19, 2019.
