Carol Anne Squires, 63, passed away at home in Clark Fork, Idaho, on Friday, March 8, 2019. Private family services will be held at a later date.
Carol was born on December 9, 1955, in Fayetteville, North Carolina, the daughter of Douger and Carrie Pope.
She married John Squires on May 12, 2001, in Priest River, Idaho. They later moved to Clark Fork.
Carol was a very loving wife, mother, and grandmother who loved spending time with friends and family. She was one of the sweetest and most kind- hearted people you would ever meet. Years ago she volunteered as a caregiver for the elderly.
She had a passion for crocheting, singing, and helping others. She also enjoyed karaoke, bowling and her dogs, “Precious” and “Sammy.”
She is survived by her husband, John Squires of Clark Fork; mother, Carrie Pope of Tallapoosa, Georgia ; sister, Marian (Michael) Baird of Silver Creek, Georgia; brother, John Pope of Tallapoosa; sons, Robert E McBride III of Beaufort, South Carolina and Daniel (Naomi) Boone of Spokane, Washington; daughters, Carolynne (Jeff) Ingram of Canton, Georgia and Christy (Jose) Martinez of Glennville, Georgia; stepdaughters, Stephanie and Jennifer Squires of Ferndale, Washington; and by seven grandchildren, Patrick Ingram, Emily Ingram, Nolen Frey, Kayona Frey, Dakota Boone, Jacob White, and Abbey White.
She was preceded in death by her father, Douger Pope; and daughter, Jackie McBride.
