IRISH FUN SPRINGS INTO THE MIX OF WEEK'S OFFERINGS
SANDPOINT – Everybody’s Irish this week, as we get ready to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day in style. Sure n’ there’s plenty of fine Celtic music about to pour out of local pubs, with just about every watering hole in town wearing the green.
I’m excited to let you know that the Bridges Home Duo — me and my lovely and talented lady, Tamara — has back-to-back shows this weekend. On Saturday, we’re playing both traditional and contemporary Irish music at the Hope Memorial Community Center’s Shamrock Social. Sunday we honor the big day itself with a show just down the way in Newport at Kelly’s Bar & Grill – a real Irish pub, it is.
The Panida screens “Stan & Ollie” starting tonight through the weekend, POAC opens its annual Student Art Show at the Power House Gallery Friday evening, Bright Moments plays that night at Pend d’Oreille Winery and it’s Cabin Fever all weekend at the Bonner Mall with great stuff to peruse.
So be Irish, think spring and have fun.
