On Thursday, February 21, 2019 while skiing the Snow Ghosts runs on Schweitzer Basin I suffered a broken hip which resulted in a total hip replacement at Bonner General Health. I would like to take this opportunity to thank the Schweitzer Ski Patrol, EMS services and the staff at Bonner General for their prompt and excellent care that they provided for me from the removal from the hill, surgery, and subsequent recovery.

The medical staff at Bonner General Health has assured me that I will have a complete recovery and I will be skiing during the 2019-20 ski season. Looking forward to skiing the Snow Ghost runs next season.
