Joyce R Buck, 94

Joyce R Buck, 94, of Yakima, Wash., and former resident of Sandpoint, Idaho, passed away on March 10, 2019, in Yakima.

She was born on September 8, 1924, in Pender, Neb., to Robert and Louise Gray. She was still working for Quality Inn at the age of 82. Her children moved her and her husband, Melvin, to Yakima, Wash., in July 2006 to be close to their children to help with her husband’s failing health.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Melvin R. Buck on Dec. 15, 2006, and her daughter, Shirley Loveland on May 19, 2007. She is survived by her daughter, Marge Wood, of Yakima; her son, Fred (Kathy) Buck, of Kennewick, Wash.; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.

A celebration of life will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday June 8, 2019, at Coffelt Funeral Service in Sandpoint. Private burial will be at Pinecrest Cemetery in Sandpoint.
