Reid Andre Koster,62

Reid Andre Koster,62, passed away at his home in Clark Fork, Idaho on Feb. 28, 2019.

He was born in Kamloops, British Columbia, in Canada, to Lenard Koster and Ethal Viola Ruth Orton on June 7, 1956.

Reid began his travels early in life with his family to various areas of Canada due to his father’s profession as a minister. The travel bug carried Reid into his lifelong career as an owner operator, owning his own business driving long haul. Reid ended his career driving for System Transport out of Cheney, Wash.

When taking time off Reid and Laurie enjoyed traveling and antique treasure hunting. He had a love of boats and sailing. After semi-retiring in January of this year, he was looking forward into getting back into hunting and maybe tossing a line in the water again.

Reid leaves at home his wife, Laurie Koster; a son, Joseph Koster of Creston, British Columia; a son, William Koontz of Columbia, S.C.; a daughter, Alexandra Koster of Fort Mill, S.C.; a stepdaughter, Amanda Engan of Post Falls, Idaho; a stepson, Joshua Engan of Clark Fork; his grandchildren, Jaydyn, Kayleigh, Devonnie, Jonah and Xander; two brothers, Lane Koster of Calgary, Alberta, Canada, and Philip Koster of Cochrane, Alberta, Canada; two sisters, Linda Wiebe of Salmon Arm, British Columbia, Canada, and Gayle Harmon of Cold Lake, Alberta, Canada; along with numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

There will be a private family memorial service held in Cochrane, Alberta, on April 14, 2019.
