A polygraph examination was requested in the Lake Street area at 9:03 a.m.

A found dog was returned to its owner near the intersection of Woodland Drive and Great Northern Road at 10:54 a.m.

A welfare check was requested in the 700 block of Fifth Avenue area at 11:02 a.m.

An officer assisted a citizen in the 800 block of Washington Avenue at 3:16 p.m.

Report of an abandoned vehicle in the 1700 block of Ontario Street at 3:21 p.m.

Officers were unable to locate a traffic hazard in the 1300 block of Boyer Avenue at 5:07 p.m.

Michael Richards, 48 of Newport, and Madisen King, 23, of Priest River, were cited and released on charges of possessing controlled substances and Nicole Love, 29, of Newport, was cited and released on charges of possessing paraphernalia in the 3000 block of Highway 2 in Oldtown at 10:10 p.m.
