Climate change doomsayers relying on false prophecies

| May 2, 2019 1:00 AM

Jack DeBaun (Daily Bee, April 16, 2019) continues to reject solid, factual scientific evidence while clinging desperately to politically-motivated pseudo-science. For Jack, gravity has become the “lid” on Earth’s atmosphere which prevents the escape of CO2 gases and will certainly spell doom for all of mankind unless we curb our use of those dreadful fossil fuels. Sorry, Jack, but your weak arguments are soundly defeated by such easy-to-find articles as “Atmospheric Escape” on Wikipedia and “Two New Studies Destroy Climate Crisis, Greenhouse Gas & Carbon Claims” on Principia-Scientific.org.

Bearing many of the earmarks of a religious cult, today’s climate change doomsayers are working tirelessly to promote the notion that, unless we change our use of fossil fuels, the world as we know it will soon end. Man’s use of cars, trucks, trains, and airplanes will usher in the next great extinction event. And, like a religious cult, the doomsayers tell us that we must convert to their way of belief or else, when the world ends, it will be our fault. Our only salvation is to accept their version of truth.

According to Al Gore and other doomsday cultists, parts of Manhattan should have been under water by 2008, the North Pole would have melted and ice sheets disappeared by now, but none of that has happened. False prophecies are easy to make, but hard to fulfill. In the case of the climate change cult, they are just tools to use in pursuit of political ends.
