Library, Mountain West team up on travel

| May 3, 2019 1:00 AM

The Library is teaming up with Mountain West Bank to tempt you to travel. As the Ponderay branch’s organization of the month, we will have a travel-themed display set up throughout the month of May — because, what better way to travel than through a book?

When Mountain West’s Ponderay branch manager Judy Baird contacted us, she said, “We knew we were doing a travel theme in May and I immediately thought of The Library. Growing up, I could travel anywhere through the adventures I experienced in books.”

Our travel-themed display will be up all month, but we will be there to help the bank ride their travel theme in a few different ways today, Friday, May 3. At 10:30 a.m., library volunteer Marie will be taking students on a trip with a special travel story time. From noon to 1 p.m. you can sign up for a library card and learn about the perks of being a card holder at our staffed sign-up table. Then, from 2:30 to 4 p.m. you can jump on the Bookmobile and browse books, movies, music, and more.

Take a trip to the Mountain West Bank Ponderay branch today.
