Anglers catch way onto leaderboard
SANDPOINT — The seventh day of Lake Pend Oreille Idaho Club’s spring derby saw quite a few changes to the adult Mackinaw standings as four anglers caught their way onto the leaderboard.
Entering the Mackinaw standings Friday were Wade Melton with a 22.44-pound, 39 1/2 inch fish to claim third, Jeffery Payne who caught a 17.5 pound, 36-inch fish to claim fourth, John Cosolito with a 12.94-pound Mackinaw measuring 31 inches to claim sixth and Cory LaRue who caught a 12.92-pound fish measuring 32 inches to claim seventh place.
Blake Heather remains in the top spot in the adult rainbow trout standings with a 17.34-pound rainbow that measured 34 1/4 inches.
Scott Plue still leads the adult laker competition with a 25.56-pounder.
Ashland McCorkle and Jace Chapman remain atop the Youth A and B standings.
