The 'Mona Lisa' is missing? Sunshine Hills to the rescue

| May 10, 2019 1:00 AM

With the greatest minds in the world looking for the famed “Mona Lisa” painting, who would ever guess that a group of crafty seniors at the Sunshine Hills Assisted Living Center would be the ones who figure out where it is and who stole it?

Set in the fictitious setting of the Sunshine Hills Assisted Living Center, this rollicking comedic mystery features the elderly residents who routinely flummox their “keepers” as they find ways to make life fun and meaningful in their golden years.

An original play written by Angela Aller, Natalie Aller and Jeannine Hunter, these performances promise some hilarious twists and turns, as well as some spunky antique action as the residents take you on a journey of uncovering the clues that lead straight to the missing masterpiece. Be forewarned that this play contains serious hijinks and even a “high-speed” chase.

Sunshine Hills is produced by Growing Dreams Productions, Inc., the group who brings you the amazing youth musicals like “Shrek the Musical” and “Annie”.

With a cast of 10 talented local young actors and actresses, Sunshine Hills will be performed on stage at the Sandpoint High School auditorium today and Saturday, May 10 and 11, with curtain at 7 p.m., doors open at 6:30 p.m. Tickets are $5 per person and are available at the door.
