Auction supports local vet programs

Military Appreciation Month is celebrated every May and Priest River’s VFW Post 2909 has a great way to show that support on Saturday, May 18, with an auction and meal to support the community’s military veterans.

The Priest River cornerstone for 86 years, Post 2909 hosts its annual dinner auction (live and silent) to continue its support of local veterans and the community. Valuable items donated by generous businesses and individuals can be yours for the right price — and you’ll know that your purchase supports this cause.

Admission tickets are $25 and include a sumptuous meal, entertainment and the suspense of an auction. The event begins at 5 p.m. Only 100 tickets are available and they can be purchased from VFW members.
