| May 15, 2019 1:00 AM

It’s with heavy hearts we announce that Terry Wayne Persick Jr., 45, passed away April 27, 2019, after a fight with bladder cancer. He beat us to heaven, but we will join him at some point.

He was born in Baton Rouge, La., to Terry Wayne and Karen Elizabeth (Hebert) Persick. He lived there until moving to Idaho in 1992.

Terry is survived by his wife, Janina (Wagner) Persick of 13 years; a daughter, Allison Morgan Persick (Taylor), 23; a son, Blaine William, 10; his stepdaughter, Harley Marie, 15; his parents; his sisters, Debra and (Dan) Buttrey, Amanda and (David) Williams; and a brother, Billy and (Jessica) Persick; as well as numerous nephews, nieces, one very cute great- nephew, aunts, uncles, and an army of friends.

He enjoyed spending free time with family and friends. He also enjoyed helping others. He loved welding and working on heavy equipment. It’s been mentioned he had integrity and a huge heart. He would give anyone the shirt off his back.

Terry had an infectious laugh that would light up any room.

His wife and kids know he is watching over them every day.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
