Burgstahler deserves your support, vote

Scott Burgstahler deserves your support and vote! Scott’s experience and wisdom; exhibited through business ownership, his medical profession, time and service, and knowledge of our community, are essential to the Pend Oreille Hospital District Board.

The POHD is charged with delivering health care and does so through Bonner General Hospital et al. BGH is an extraordinary health care resource that most rural communities would love to offer. We want to retain the services of our hospital, and it’s clinics, and our ability to expand and enhance them.

I fail to understand why people choose to see essential services as a tax rather than an investment in our community. Let’s remember why we chose Sandpoint, and not eastern Montana, as our home. Beyond its community and vibrancy, it’s because of the quality and choice of services here - those that protect and provide for us. Our hospital is a critical component of our well-being.

Labeling, tearing down people, espousing false testimony, pridefulness and boastful chest thumping are completely contrary to supporting and fostering well-being. Let’s protect our community’s character and qualities by supporting those who understand, and have proven their role as good stewards, acting with wisdom and experience.
