Both the girls and the boys U10 Strikers Teams played in the Hot Shot Tournament held in Coeur D’Alene last weekend on May 11-12.

During the tournament, the boys went 4-0 to win the tournament, only giving up five goals but scoring 26. The girls team, meanwhile, placed second.

The boys played their best games to date. This was their first tournament of the season. The team hopes to keep up the momentum next weekend in league play, then into its the next tournament in Kalispell, Montana in a couple of weeks.

All in all, coaches Alan Brinkmeier and Jameson Longanecker could not have been happier with the way they have come together as a team — especially considering that they have done so this early in the season.
