Let's clean the air when it comes to smoking

Tell me what’s fair about some smokers being allowed to foul up the air, while we non-smokers are forced to stay in our units with the windows closed. Great way to spend the summer.
In our 55-plus complex, smoking is prohibited in all units as well as on patios; sad to say, neither of which is enforced. According to our lease agreement any tenant breaking these rules is subject to eviction. The latest concession to non-smokers was for management to establish 25-foot boundaries which may protect the structures but does nothing to protect the non-smokers. Perhaps those property managers/owners should rethink the way they treat their non-smoking tenants here in Sandpoint.
